theres a 97 civic EX in memphis it's got the SI swap, but the speedometer doesn't work, the sunroof switch is bad, and the radio doesnt work.

but there's a car here in knoxville its a 99 Civic SI. and the guy wants the same price for it as the other one but, it needs piston rings, and a head gasket. but in the backseat of it he has type r pistons, and some rings. and i have a head gasket for it. and could probly get this one cheaper than the other one, and not have to drive to memphis. it would just be more work to fix it. so what do u all think?

I would say the SI where you are then. Just my opinion though....

ya. cuz the SI has a built head. 4 angle valve job, milled, and skunk 2 cams. its worth the money, as long as i can get it for the right price
