I have decided to go ahead and install the MPFI that came on my 2000 model D16Y7 in my 1989 Civic Hatch. I think I have all of the wiring figured out but while looking at it last night I found that it has a fuel bypass line on it. The original DPFI system doesn't have a bypass line on it. How can I get this to work. I really don't want to have to use the old DPFI system. I really want to upgrade this motor. I don't want to go backwards with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you gotta run a fuel line back into your tank from there =/ not too hard to do if done with care =)

Does't a DPFI have a return line on it?

worst case is you can feed the fuel back through the charcoal canister tank's line >=D

I was just being a dumbass I guess!! I did find the return line. Why the hell does Honda put the return line on the opposite side of the car. When I bought the car it didn't have a motor in it and this is my first Honda so.... :cussing:

lolz =) glad you found it.....

yeah... the return line is on the drivers side, and the fuel line comes in on the passenger side by the fuel filter =P
