View Full Version : D15b vtec from D16z6 PS bracket

Pardon me if I didn't post this in the right section. :o
The motor is JDM ( as you all know ). The bracket is from my d16z6. I thought all of this was supposed to line-up. Does this mean my block is from a non-ps car? I'm willing to torque down the 3 bolts, but damn.....
The red arrow indicates the bolt that just doesn't line up.

Thanks to all that have any answers and/or solutions :) And yes... I hit the brackets up with Rustoleum black. ftl.

it's probably due to the block height difference from the d15b and d16z.

they have different mounting points ive been through this a few times

So I'm cool to just torque down the 3, and roll?

double check your belt line up,then do it up if all looks good,i had the right one for the block at the time so i didnt have an issue,peace

Anything off the top of your head to watch out for? I'm already going to drill a hole for the purge sensor on the back of the intake where it was on the d16z6.
