Hey guys just got my first civic as a DD seeing now all I will be doing for now is I/H/E was wondering what gains and power would I see in tuning it And would it be worth it cost to gain ratio by switchign to OBD1 or just remain with the stock set up.

Thanks in advance

With just an I/H/E, you probebly woulden'[t see much of a gain, but you would get something. Now if you were running a larger than stock cam and ported head/intake manifold then you would probebly see some larger gains.

well been seeing how alot ofyou guys like the crower cams and def skip the stage 1, and just go to stage 2, My question is what is the correct route to go as far as the tuning me being an OBD2 with running I/H/E and a stage 2 cam. (including retainers and springs)

Convert to a chipped OBD-1 ECU, it's the best bang for the buck out there.

oh yea...factory tunes are made for good gas mileage, everyday driveability. A Good tune will help w/ throttle response and some more mid range - high power. get a tune man
