Hey there people new to this forum and wondering if boosting the d15b7 is asking for trouble or if it will actually respond well to the turbo??? got a good deal on a turbo setup with an ihi turbo and wondering if it is a wise investment... thanks for any and all info....

Bolt it on and go. If the 200ish HP isen't enough for you, start on a D16 block and swap it in later.

Boost is always good.
If something blows up, that's even better! (But don't forget to post pictars.)

hellz yeah boost on anything rocks wether it's a d15, d16 or whatever. Shit I'm gonna boost my D15/b2 after my MPFI swap (that should be fun)

For modest goals of somewhere near 160whp goals you should be more than happy with a boosted B7. If you can get a good deal I say go for it.
