ok the car is a 91 crx dx with a d15b swap and stock dx trans and here is my problem.my speedo only works when i am no it hard and it dosent read right i check the cable but most the time when i drive normal it reads up to 25 and that is it and some time it reads up to 80 but i will be doing a lot faster i dont know wat it could be bad cluster or something in the trans

yea but i just pay a guy to change it and he did and that is when it started working for the first time scence i got the car so i dont know wat it could be and how could i check to see it that is it

How is a VSS on cable driven speedo head gonna effect the readings?

Cable or cluster, not the VSS :)

werd no vss to mess with output of gauge...

mine was doing the same thing after i changed my isb. but it fixed itself after i drove it for a while

Check that the cable is properly seated at the trans and the cable clip is in.

well the clip is on but how will i know if it is seated right
