What should a D16a6 Idle at. When I start my car it idle's around 1500 RPM, and after it warms up the rpm goes up and down when Im at a stand still. I looked for a vacuum leak and could not find one, what else could cause the idle problem?

it is a honda thing ever one i have ever been in dose that when they are cold and then idle down when it get warm

ive heard of defective map sensors being the cause of a surging idle
Fast idle should only happen below 14*F, 1000-2000 RPM range.
Pull off and inspect the vac hose that connects the manifold to the MAP sensor, it tends to crack at the sensor nipple. Also clean your EACV, it gets pretty dirty over time.
You can adjust the idle screw, but I would only do so after setting the idle per the service manual instructions.
