when i first got it, i installed it on my desktop computer, and i beleive i installed it correctly, not 100% sure.
but when i burnt a chip, it said the .bin was successfully uploaded... and when i put it in my chipped PM6, it started up in limp mode. the chipped ECU works with the stock chip in the socket.
im using SST 27SF512 chips, and i selected that chip from the list of chips on the burn1.
any ideas? bad chip? bad burn? bad .bin? driver's not installed correctly? any step by step installation guides for this thing, the directions arent very clear to me at all

you have to erase 512 chips every time you re write them.
steps:
erase chip
load file to buffer
program chip
verify chip

ohhh ok, cause all i did was put the chip in then load it on there...
insert chip
load file
program
then tried it and it threw a solid CEL... solid led light ecu code 0.

no more like this
edit and change your bin in whatever rom editor you want
when ready to burn:
install chip in burner
in flash&burn:
if 512, erase
load bin to buffer
program chip from buffer
verify
