i was just woundering but im going to be doing a mini me swap soon and i have the converson harness for the ecu and i have the p28 but i just wanted to know if i could just put the p28 in my car and run my car like that for a wile?

would it do anything good or would it make it run bad?

it would run, but you would get a CEL and it would probably run like shit..

probably not gonna run if you put a p28 in a dpfi car. which REQUIRES the mpfi swap first, since there are some sensors that get moved. also dont believe the dist will work with that anyways:beer:

yup, do the dpfi to mpfi swap if you havnt already, and you cannot use the ecu without either a obd1 or obd2 distributor, you will need a obd1/2 o2 sensor also

you must add a bunch of stuff, like 2 extra injectors, resistor box(low impedance injectors). some of the sensors get moved around.

DPFI=Dual Point Fuel Injection-only uses 2 injectors, hence the 'dual'

MPFI=Multi Point Fuel Injection-uses 1 injector per cylinder:beer:
