i was looking for ecu pinouts to hook up my vtec and i found something about cx engine harness having 1 wire 02 sensor. i'm using a cx harness. do i have to get the 4 wire o2 sensor and hook it to the ecu? my car is running with the 1 wire o2 sensor, should i change it?

another question not pertaining to the first question.
Do the D15B pass smog? i heard many different answer. some people said it'll pass but some said if its JDM, its not going to. ???

I'm not sure what you're trying to do here. Replacing your harness? Fixing a broken O2 sensor? What year vehicle?

You probably have a 2-wire O2 sensor so your ECU expects that. The 4-wire sensor is actually a heated O2 sensor. So 2 wires are there to sense the O2 content just like a 2-wire sensor and the extra 2 wires send voltage to the sensor under the control of the ECU to heat up the sensor so that it works more accurately when the engine is cold.

So your ECU would need to support the 4-wire.
