With some work it can, but overall your better off getting the proper distributor for the head.

The mounting holes are off by a bit in one spot, and necessitate drilling, if you do not want to do this. And in my experience one bolt didnt line up at all, but this was a y8 mini me with a obd0 dizzy from an a6, not sure about the bolt locations of the z6 head.

It works just fine though, just for reference.

only the z6 or z1 dizzy will properly fit.
