psi is an inaccurate # to go by. hp is a more realistic goal.
with a good tune between 200 to 250.

psi means nothing

we would need to know what motor, first...then what turbo....

what are your power goals?

This is a Y8 with t-28, crower stage1 cam, ls tb, AEM fuel rail, chiped ECU, 450 DSM, FMIC, full 2.5 EX, Greddy log mani, P-n-P head, and 8 PSI now.. but soon adding vitara LC pistions then t-3/t-4 ball baring... have no clue what im pushing HP or track time now... I wanna run any thing in the 11's

The t28 is not that big so you should be fine with 10psi, at least that is what I would run.

I don't understand why so many noobs continually want to run 11's.
11 seconds takes a serious engine and a great driver...
And stock rods do not go well with 11second runs...

formula for an 11 second car:

750 injectors
tt or eagle h beam rods.
vitaras.
t3/t4 57 trim 60./.63 stage 3 wheel.
chrome pro.
good tune.
25 psi on race gas
obx lsd.
hardcore clutch that sucks for city drving
slicks.
good driving.

+

- Better fuel pump
- aftermarket drive shafts
- 2.5 mendrel free flow exhaust
- fully built engine
- turbo cam/intake/tubing
- valves and head job.
- much more

That doesn't mean 11 sec cars. It can be high 12sec too, it depend too from height, car weight, car aerodynamism, temperature. It's a real guest estimate that setup or that car will run in 11sec. Turbo choice and gearing are little bit in interaction. fast and small turbo will take advantage of small gearing and bigger turbo with little bit longer gearing.

In what engine ? d15 or d16y8 ? vtec or not ? really not same hp and tq curves.

ballpark for stock rods is 250hp MAX

dont look at it as a psi amount, look at the power amount
