This here is just a setup that I am doing for a local guy cheap (so don't go expecting some big topmount with a GT42R here...this is young guy teenage money stuff here). I haven't done installs for anyone since going out of business a year ago. Thing was with this guy, he's a real young dude. I did his swap 1.5 years ago when he was 15 and he didn't even have a drivers license. He told me he'd call me when he wanted his turbo installed, and sure enough he did.

Despite not really wanting to do the setup, his loyalty was reason for exception. I did this whole setup for him for 500 bucks. Between working more than full time for the local police, it's taken me about 4 weeks thus far puting about 6 hours a week in. It'll be all done here in the next day or two.

This pic is with the mockup mani I use while I make his permanent log. It also has a mockup reducer coupler going to the turbo to basically hold the pipe in place. For 500 bucks it's a nice setup if you ask me.

The unique deal with it is I ran the turbo opposite what alot of guys do. He really wanted to keep power steering, and plus he had an AEM intake I wanted to hack up. A few nice pie cuts and some aluminum welding made it fit pretty well.

Downpipe using some mild steel parts...not bad....gets the job done.

Outside pic.....xspower intercooler...a heavy big ass bar and plate. Not bad quality though for the price. Couplers are mockup stuff once again...was waiting on the 2.5-3 adapters. No brackets added for the charge pipes yet either....a middle stage pic.

I'll toss up some finished pics next week. I finished chipping his ecu and doing a calculated basemap. I'll be getting it running then doing a wb street tune at 8 psi, then returning the car to him. He's 16 with a license now so...should be happy with it.

what turbo is it? that IC is a huge overkill for that boost level on a budget setup, but whatever works

$500 is a smokin deal!!

you may want to consider adding a flex pipe... your gonna need it cause it looks like your exhaust is gonna be to solid and it will break on you... i know this for a fact... i had the same thing for about a month till i put the flex pipe on... broke three time's before the flex pipe was added... just some food for thought...

I got a corkey bell liquid IC core and fabbed up the endtanks. I sent it to him so he could weld it up. Never got the IC and never heard from him again. I'm out $300. 200 for the core and 100 that I sent him to start the work. I looked into him... Turns out he was banned from ebay a few other fourms for scamming. Even scammed another person here. Just check his i-trader.

If you were a man with some honor, you'd make this shit right!

Whoa...Whoa....whoa....whoa....whoa....whoa....who a.....whoa....whoa.....

Spiral out of control...chill chill chill chill.

Tax issues caught my entire business up in a tangle. I've been workin for over a year here to get back squared away. I was a sole proprietorship so everything got tangled. I can get everything squared away here with you, no need to tear up this thread here. If my intention was to scam I wouldn't have come back here period. I work for a police dept full time now and am working to get restarted here.

There is nothing to replace your time lost and the inconvenience caused, but I can at least get you paid back. My apologies everyone.

Just calm down here, get me your address by pm and I'll get you paid back. It'll get taken care of.

He's a young kid...the IC is what he wanted. It's bar and plate though, plus he wanted to go big for the future.

4drlife....The kid has no money for an exhaust at this time, and what's on the car headed towards the ass end is junk. The catylitic converter on the ground there wasn't unbolted...it fell off. When the time comes for the exhaust to get done a small flex section will be added.

I really don’t see how tax/money problems would stop you from putting something in a box and mailing it, especially since it had a pre-paid return shipping label. At this point I just want my money back. I’ll PM you my address so you can send me a check.

It's a long story and something I really don't want to discuss online. PM replied to.

It was a refund I was offering in the first place. What's your current vehicle setup...any pics. Did you ever get the vehicle running? Maybe I could fab you up something free of charge to add to your setup along with your refund.

My car is running fine, turboed for over a year. I went with an air to air intercooler.

Latest setup can be found here.
