y8 or z6?

i will buy a cylinder head but as you know we don't have some motor types like z6 y8 so we have no information.

now the question:)

i will swap cylinder head z6 or y8 is better?which one i have to swap?

im not speaking from personal exprience on this one, but from what people that have y8 heads and z6 heads swapped, generally the y8 head is a better performer LOW to MID range rpm while the z6 is better MIDrange to TOP end rpm range.
- for 1/4 mile and auto cross, a built y8 head would be more suitable due to its low - mid range power where its necessary to get the vehicle moving after constant slowing down(autox)
- for longer endurance road racing where you are almost always in your redline and lets say a street racer type deal where your always racing from rolls, then it appears that a built z6 head would perform better due to the higher rpm range your always in.

i have the y8,i love it.Heard the benefits are that the head is less likely to detonate and thats always good
