okay to mix engine oil?

i have some castor 5w30 left, and a new bottle of quakerstate 5w30. was wondering is it okay to mix the oil

You will be fine.

You can encounter problems when mixing mineral (conventional) oil with a full synthetic, but really if its the same 5w30 weight than it wont be an issue.

doesnt matter if its bad or not, i still did it in my other motor and i drove it into the garage where it was pulled out of my car..
