i have a new d16z6 and it new. my question to everyone is i want to kno if i have i/h/e will i beat ls integras . cuase i raced a ls and off the line i was kinda quick but then i noticed he fly right buy as soon as i hit 3rd. i have a 93 civic ex coupe. lil tranny issues if i try to power shift from 1st to second i will miss a gear. so i was wondering what to do to be able to get back power shifting.

For your tranny issue, you could always try letting the revs drop a little while your passing through neutral before you slam it into second.
I have an old Integra (all stock B18a1) with 170,000 miles on it and it still hauls ass. The B18b1 is newer and has ten more H.P. than my pre-92 Teg. I think its all about the driver. Maybe he'll miss a gear next time.

Yup....Never been beat yet...over 1-1/2 years of running against Tegs, Si's, CRX's...whatever. ('97 LX sedan w/D16Y7...No boost....) You sure your Vtec's working? Fuel pressure is good? Somethings wrong....As far as power shifting goes, don't. You will destroy the syncro's inside the tranny...If you havn't already... Maybe your clutch is worn out? My 2 cents....

I didn't realize powershifting was shifting without the clutch. I thought he meant he was just shifting quick at high r.p.m.'s.
When I used to shift 18 speed Fullers without the clutch I called it... shifting without the clutch.

NO NO NO . POWER SHIFTING AKA FULLL THROTTLE SHIFTING. BASICALLY LAUNCHING AND NEVA TAKING YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS .

In that case, I'm not trying to be funny (or talk crap), thats why these other cars are taking off on you. Don't listen to anyone thats telling you to shift like that.

all im saying is i never really raced integra ls's . i only ran v-8s and other d16z6. i beat most d16z6 and couple 305 v-8s. but the only cars dat i wana race now r the lt1 powered chevy impala ss and be a quick as a b16a
