D17 VTEc or D16 V-TEC?!! SWAP Help!

Ok I removed my blown D15B7 out of my 4 door LX 92 SDN..I have a D17 engine at home V-Tec...off a 02 2DR Coupe EX...Will this engine fit inside my honda? Would it be a direct bolt on? Also what type of new wiring will I have to run? Any conversion plugs to make things easier (keep it OBD1) Also would my D15B7 LX Tranny[92 honda civic SDN] fit the D17? Any new engine mount brackets?


IF THE D17 WILL NOT FIT!Then i will put my D16Z6 in there I guess all help is appreciated!

I'd go with the Z6 because you don't have convert to OBD-2 and use the D17 ECU to fire the plugs. I'm pretty sure you can't run a D17 OBD-1 because of the direct fire ignition.

Well I kinda would have to wait a week or two before I put a Z6 in my car and right now I have a Junked 02 Civic with a d17 V-Tec so i can take pretty much anything from the car? But is it a direct bolt on?
