Intro and what I'm up to

Well I just joined and am taking the advice to introduce myself.

I'm Nic and I'm a n00b. Haha not really. :) Ok, so I'm from MN, I live on a farm and I'm a car and computer guy. My main car isn't a Honda however.

I'm a big Probe fan, I've got a 95 GT that I've done some work to. I/H/E and Eibach springs is about it really but I've got more planned. The reason I'm here though is my '92 Civic EX. It must have spun a bearing a long time ago because half of it was missing and it was wearing into the rod but never made a peep until on a long trip. I towed it home and now I've got plans for it also.

Right now, I've just ordered and taken delivery of a JDM D15B w/ trans. Seems to be in decent shape. I'm in the process of swapping wiring over but it should be a direct drop in (I hope). It will be my daily driver. It just snowed the other day (kind of early...) so I hope to get it in soon.

I hope to help this community in some way and look forward to learning more and meeting everyone!

welcome....just do a search for D15b and you should find your answers. the swap is a directo bolt-on. this site has a lot of info and people knowledgeable on the d series motor. so if you have ?'s just do a search and if you can't find it, dont be afraid to ask anyone.

I actually decided to go with the D15B as opposed to just getting another D16Z6 because of this site (yeah I was lurking for a while).

I'll get pics when I get this engine in!
