anything bad with runnin 205/60/14?

isnt that a lil tall?. idk i wanted to run thoes but my crx was spec'd at 185. idk thats what the guy told me. so i just got a the 195's. *mines also lowered*, im not too familiar with the numbers. i know the last one is the rim diameter., but i thought maybe the first # was width. and 60 was the .. ah hell idk. sorry to crap on your thread. =(

that's cool - at least i got a reply. the first number is width, the second is the distance from the outside of the rim to the outside of the tire, followed by the rim size.

second is RELATIVE distance...


IDK about using 205s on a 14... 185 is wider than the hx rims as it is, let alone 205. Im running 195s and they are BIG.

im guessing you are looking at drag radials or Azenis...

ummm actually... ziex's - i know 195's were a good size - and i know that 205 would make my speedometer readings lower than what they actually are... but seeing that they are currnently higher than what they actually are.....maybe they'll even out :TU: lol. but yeah. i mean what would be better for handling? i would think that wider is better - but i know someone's going to correct me on this.

i've just put in 195/60/14 on my ef and it feels great...they're close to the guards...but yeh, i think 205's might rub...
