damn just happened 30 mins ago. really hope its not a terrorist attack

edit: uh oh there putting fighter aircraft over several cities.... wonder what that means. its the same thing as 9-11

im watching it right now...they said it hit on the north side meaning it would have been coming away from the nearest aiport which means it would have been under FAA control...also, they are saying it could have been a helicopter...whatever it was they believe it was in trouble and not a planned crash...*phew*

No reports (to my knowledge) yet on casualties. It looks like some idiot blew off course and hit it. Still sad though.

well cnn has confirmed it was a small single engine plane. it appears that the pilot was in trouble and went into a stall according to an eye-witness pilot. he said the pilot was making a low altitude right bank. which caused the plane to go into a stall. 1 fatality confirmed

It sure is scary.

being here when 9/11 happened and during the blackout of 2003 (I walked 11 hours) when I heard of this I was shocked.

I got a call during my class from my dad, and he told me about it. I'm 20min away. My college is very close to everything.

I hope all is well for the residence there. I would be terrified...poor souls
