hey guys i have a d16y5 in my 93 cx hatch, the motor has 87k miles has a regrinded cam, cold air and thats about it how could i hit 14's with the least amount of big money being spent?

I don't really think 14's are possible without spending a lot of money on a y5. But I'm interested in hearing other's opinions!

I hope to let you know in about... 3 weeks. BOTI is calling my name. N/A d15b w/ ported d16y5 head + other stuff. In my 90 rex SI. Your car is lighter than mine, so if you're as good a driver as I am(tooting my own horn) ,you'll be faster with the same mods.
By the way, I'm not letting anyone put the y5 head down anymore. It's a P2J casting... The same as the y8 casting!
There are a few who've turbo'd the d16y5 with outstanding results. Look around on HMT and turbod16.

yea i have a whole turbo setup im trying to get rid of went turbo with a b7 wasent into it at all i want a all motor car that runs like 14's im planning on si tranny stage 2 clutch full exhaust no cat, under drive pully and go from there then maybe get into head porting and miled.
