you would have to replace the WHOLE head.
VTEC-E head just won't work.

replace the whole head meaning swaping to a D16Z head with D15 block?
is it interchangable ? Will it increase the performance just by changing to a D16Z head? How about the intake manifold ?

yes the d16z head will bolt on the 1.5 block, it will flow better, the cam will work, and as far as the manifold, you might as well get the d16z manifold, it flows better, but you do not NEED it, the 1.5 will work

He has a Z1... if he slaps a Z6 head on it, he's going to have very low compression due to the dish in the pistons.
