Here's a compilation of my journey (3yrs to date!)

June 2003
My fisrt Honda was a 1993 Honda del Sol S equipped with a d15b7 automatic. Within the first 3 months of owning & fixing it up, I performed a 5spd manual conversion. Shortly after, I put in a z6 5-spd trans. I upgraded the motor with a z6 intake, B16 TB, DC Sport 4-2-1 header and eBay special catback exhaust. I modified the suspension with Tokico Illuminas and Neuspeed Race Springs. I also added a stock del Sol Si front swaAfter:y bar with a Neuspeed Upper Strut Tower Bar. An Ioport B pillar Stabilizer bar with Simpson 5-pt harness. I also upgraded the rear drums to a rear disc setup, It was rolling on stock del Sol fat fives and Yokohama ES 100's.

I attended 5 autocrosses that year, and loved every minute of it. Due to the car being in an accident, I decided to sell it and move on to an unmolested chassis, after learning more about engines and suspension. The car wasnt hurt bad, but it found out it had been wrecked 3 times prior (thank you CarFax). So I sold it, June 2005.

I then aquired this 1993 Honda del Sol S eqipped with a d15b7 5spd. It had 100k miles on it, working A/C, and unmolested motor, car was bone stock. So first things first, upgrade the suspension and brakes. This time, I opted for a GSR brake upgrade all the way around with both front and rear sway bars. I bought a complete entire GSR suspension and installed everything. I was planning on putting in a LS swap, but I found a huge leak in the trunk/rear winder area under the rear bins and decided to sell it. (Inspected and found loads of rust) Also the lady that owned it before me, was very dirty and the car needed a $200 interior cleaning. So I sold that one November 2005.

So then, I found this sol. A 1993 del Sol Si. It had everything I was looking for, rear discs, sway bar, VTEC motor. I was happy. I drove it for 2 months without modifing a thing. Then I started autocrossing again. So i decided to start upgrading. Here is what I ended up with:

Umm. I like it a lot man! Not a huge fan of Sols, but I like that one. Good job with it!

But one question: Why join D-S when you have a B? I'm not hating at all, because I have a B as well. Just curious.

Now this guy knows how to introduce himself to the community, good job. The only prob. is you have a B and this is a D web site. Anyways, great car and good work.
