Change of Intake Manifold & Throttle Body

hi everyone, i from singapore.

owned a d16z6 engine.

due to the restriction of the engine modified over here. i cant swap my engine to bigger and better engine. engine mod mean = car compounded if being caught by traffic police. so i have to do with what i have.

firstly, i will like to change my intake manifold.

what kind of intake manifold will be best for d16z6? i read from alot of forum saying d16z6 engine suit d16y8 intake manifold will increase some effect. is it true ?

and for thottle body, how big do i need it ? original throttle body for d16z6 is 56mm right ? what is the biggest to get for better effect?

dude, to hell with them. put some spray on it. intake mani isn't going to give you more than MAYBE 5 HP

well you could even go with a b16 throttle body the response should be a little better than the y8.....just remember that if you go with the b16 throttle body u will get the best performance if u port the intake manifold....search some of the threads u will find more information
