I didn't use a torque wrench when I installed by Greddy header and its been fine for year and a few months already so I say you don't need it.
wipe it down before you fire it up (i'm sure you knew that already though) wouldn't want finger prints all over it.

If you have ever worked on a car before, you dont need a torque wrench. Just make it about as tight as it was when you took the nuts off. :TU:
Advice: Take your time. Do one thing at a time. Remember to take the bolts out of the stocker under the car. And put those bolts back in the Edelbrock.
Most important:You want the car up HIGH and the bumper cover off to take the stocker out from the bottom of the car and to squeze the new one under. Take your time.

maybe a torque wrench isnt completely nessesary for a header but if you plan on working on a honda engine,suspension,etc... then you should invest in one when the moneys available.:TU:

Yeah I know I would need one in the future, just not ready to dish out $100-xxx right now. How much louder should my car get? All i have is an AEM SRI..

It won't be much louder. Maybe a little. It will flow a shitload better.

Mine got smoother sounding... maybe a little louder, but not much. Mainly under the hood. Also got cooler under the hood, since mine was ceramic coated.

ive never used a torque wrench on any part of my exhaust system.
if the bolts are going to break, they will break when REMOVING the stock manifold...
spray penetrating lube all over the exhaust studs and let it sit for probably 30mins to be safe :TU:
