Feel free to elaborate on this but here's a quick run down and it might vary a little bit!
OBD-0 is 91 and prior
OBD-1 is 92-95 (with the exception of the 91 nsx I believe it was obd1 also)
OBD-2 is 96-01?

Ok now this is where i'm confused i have a 92 Civic Si sedan but it has the D16A8 (ZC) in it which I'm told is out of a 89 teg is that correct. If so how do i know if the ECU has been changed to siut the year of the engine or not???
I live in Australia and i got the car from a mate who bought it at a motor auction and i think it is an import...

Ok I have never heard of that one either but I did a little research and this is what I came up with...
P29 - JDM/EURO D16A9 (DOHC NON-VTEC) engines

Hmmmm ok I've heard the A8 and the A9 are pretty much identical so first of all I'm probably definately looking at an import and second it seems to me that the ECU is dated to the engine then. I have no idea about these things so I'm just guessing.
Cheers for answering my questions by the way nobody ever answers my stupid nood questions...
