Hey Guys
Anyone have the specs for:
-stock D16A6 cam
-Exospeed Sr909
-Exospeed Race A6
? I'm trying to compare cams and tryin to figure whether or not i need to upgrade the valvetrain...I would like to, but im strapped for cash- the stock valvetrain should hold cuz i dont plan on revving past stock redline- Let me know if ya can help!
Thanks a lot!

you won't need aftermarket valvetrain, unless you plan to increase the redline the stock springs and retainers will hold up.
I ended up geting ISKY valvetrain for my Rocket cam, mostly for the titanium retainers, valves look suspiciosly stock

Look around on here for a post I'd put up a while back asking about SOHC ZC cams. We got our hands on a couple SOHC ZC camshafts - one off eBay ("Mystery Cam"), one that I watched get pulled out of a SOHC ZC engine, and a D16A6 cam from an engine I pulled at our shop. We took measurements and posted up results. Many thanks to Calesta for letting us measure his ZC.
Based on what we found, my next cam will most likely come from Wil. :) I just couldn't see enough difference in the SOHC ZC cams to make it look worthwhile to swap it in.

Both camshafts do not require Upgraded valvetrain as long as you dont pass the STOCK rev limiter. You will notice that the powerband is going to feel higher than stock 6800 RPM rev limit. So to get the most out of these cams, we suggest upgrading the valvetrain to handle 7800-8000 RPM

check the spring rate on the Dual springs. Most of the time, Dual springs are overkill in many setups and are the causes of camshaft flattening. what we sell are single racing springs with titanium retainers.
