Can I used a y8 cam in a z6. The reason I am asking is that the y8 crower one is on sale but the z6 is not. Do I also have to change the spings and retainers, and cam gear. http://crower.com/cat/import/honda/cams/d16y.shtml

You can use it as long as you get a y8 cam gear or an adjustable one. Is that a Z6 block and crank you are using?. just curiosity...

It is a jdm zc vtec.

Lol, you mean, "yes it is". I don't know why some guys get off on saying they've got a jdm whosawhatsit with jdm amber toenail clippers that smell of jdm squash....
