emange from a kit is pretuned correct? Some people say 5-8 psi. For the time being if i ran 7 psi maybe 8 once in a while would i have any problems. Ill end up buyin the profec e01 some time. But for now i just wanna get the most out of my setup. Comes with 310 cc injectors.

If you run two boost stages, you want to tune for the higher one. The lower one will fall into the tune.
..as for it being pretuned, I didn't think that would be possible. And if they do it, I don't see how it's a good idea, with them not knowing the setup of the engine it's going on. ::Shrug::

Hahaha.. ya, you better call them.
I think you have to tune it. Adjust the settings yourself. It's basically an AFC on crack. Lots-o-options or something. I don't know how the settings come stock.
Heh, better give them a ring and post back here for all of us to know.
Im pretty sure the e-manage that comes with all the new greddy kits ARE NOT pretuned. You have to do that. But there are 5 dials to give +- 20% injector pulses (or something like that) at 2,3,4,5,6 thousand rpm. The unit adjusts itself below and above 2 and 6k rpm and inbetween. Larger injectors with the e-manage will act just like an afc hack, but I dont think it has as many bad side effects. At least until you get the tuning software. At least this is to the best of my knowlege. Im still tryin to figure out if I need bigger injectors to run 8 psi or not. I know I will if I go higher, but I dont know if they are necesary at 8 psi with an IC and 92 octane. If they are needed, tell me now before my motor goes boom :o

yo eg8 sounds like we are in a similar boat!!! LEt me know what you find out. Nw you were tlaking about tuning the emanage unit. I got the emange with the t19 kit. Why wouldi need to tune this. What is the point of installing it if its not going to change my settings at all? Let me know what you tihnk find out thanks!
thats the whole point of it is that it does change your settings. Look on the front and there are 5 dials. Assuming you have stock injectors, they can flow up to 20% more at 5 rpm presets. These presets are 2,3,4,5 and 6. The emanage compensates for the variables above and below and in btween the dials you choose to tune it. Now if you have a vtec engine, you will have to pop it open and change the jumpers. So for the frist dial, I think +3% is good. the second should be around 5-8% because the turbo is starting to spool. the third dial (4krpm) is around 10%. These settings just remain for the next two unless you have vtec and should follow the manual for setting it. The only thing I want to know is if I will have to get larger injectors to run 8 psi. Cause right now, I am really strapped for cash, and the only reason I am using the e-manage is because it comes with the kit.

same here. If you werent rapped for cash with way would you go. I would like to run uberdata but i have obd II and dont feel like switching it all incase i sell the turbo. But i want 200 whp. safely and cost effective.
if i had alot, i would join the hondata crowd, but the e-manage can still hold its own. I think I will get prelude injectors from a 97+, that way they drop straight in.

alrite well i am vtec equipped all i need to do is change the jumpers then? I didnt even notice those preset deals they were covered by a stick on mine. Are you just gonna get a AF controller and pla with them or what?
