i have an 88 crx si and the car hesitates/bucks under load in any gear when i give it some throttle. when the engine bucks, the check engine light comes on. i switch gears to a low rpm and the bucking stops and the check engine light turns off. my ecu is flashing code 13 wich is atmospheric pressure. i already checked the map sensor and thats ok. im beginning to wonder if its the coil/ignitor, or some part of the fuel system. i really need some help as soon as possible. thanks

its not the coil or ignitor, but it doesn't hurt to check, my ignitor was all acidy when mine was throwing i think code 16 or 17... but you can sure check just to make sure its not that.

i guess i could try that, the car idles kinda high like 1250 rpms, and the car runs good when the engine is cool but when it warms up, it starts to hesitate again, what sensor could that be???

IACV located on the IM. Take it off and clean the screan in it with parts cleaner. Blow it out completely, and reinstall. It might do the trick. Otherwise it could be a vacuum leak somewhere.

it could be a vaccum air leak or your #1 cylinder sensor in the dist.
