the DX from 92-95 comes with d15b7 and yes it would work

any d-series head will work on any d-series block. the only thing with putting a z6 or a y8 head on that block is that you have to prep it for vtec, along with the ecu. and if you want a higher compression ratio then you could do a y8 3 layer metal head gasket and just take out the middle layer.

Except the d15b8. Most of them were 8 valve motors and not all of them had reliefs cut in the pistons for the extra 2 valves.

I highly doubt you have a B8 in your HB, if so it would be so wrong it would be FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!

You said that already. Transzex is right. High unlikely, but if you do, it sucks to be you.

you know to be completely honest with you i did not know that the d15b8 only had 8 valves. so i in fact stand corrected, it will fit on all d-series motors except the d15b8. :)

nope, that was the d15b6, the 8valve crx hf engine.

trust me, when you have a d15b8 engine, you will know that something is wrong with it. But then again it's all in perspective. When i had my cx engine with cx transmission, me and my friends would laugh at how slow it was and keep yelling "ITS LIKE ITS GOT SEVENTY HORSES UNDER THE HOOD JUST A WORKIN FOR YA!"

d15b8 and the d15b7 share the same block. I put a 20 dollar d15b7 head on my d15b8 with a 40 dollar b7 ecu and a 20 dollar headgasket. $80 bucks for 32 hp? CANT BEAT THAT!!!!!!!

The blocks are the same, but that has nothing to do with the b8 having only 2 valve reliefs on the pistons. A few had 4 valve pistons, but most b8's only had 2 valve pistons. Thats why I swapped mine.
