i want to run the y8 head i have on my a6 block. is there anyway i could run the mini me without changing my car to obd1? i know it would be better so i could tune it. but i dont know how to convert to obd1. i can use all the help i can get. oh yea im new to the site.

all sohc vtecs are obd1 so u have to change

there is a way you could chip the ps9 and get that to run the vtec for you. but i dont really wanna take that route. i was wondering if there was any other way?

96+ civic ex w/ the d16y8 is running obd2a or obd2b

o and for ur application, i think converting to obd1 is ur better choice since u can use the p28 ECU as well as tuning, changing from obd0 to obd1 ecu u just need to go grab one of those "conversion harness" which is for obd0 to obd1 then u're all set :D

the thing about the conversion is that wiring owns me. doing the dpfi to mpfi swap was the worst idea of my life.lol so if i wanna run the mini me the best thing to do would be to convert to obd1?
