I ALMOST owned 2 v6's today!!!

I was on my way to work when this guy in a chevy venture gets on the gas and launches up the road i was like sure why not... so i went after him i caught up in third gear and then smoked him doin about 120k by 150 i lost em.. a few lights later this little punk in a camry v6 pulls up reving his engine...i was like oh shit... i didnt know if he was gonna go but he went full throttle off the light so i started to go and caushgt up to him in second we were neck and neck at like 100k... then my turn came up so i had to let hime go.. why does my work gotta be so damn close!!! anybody pulled a v6 with intake, exhaust, short shifter??

I don't know why everybody keeps calling him an idiot for racing on the street since he never broke the speed limit in the nasa super honda. By the way, whoever started this thread, don't take it personal. Next time just make sure your v6 thread mentions a 350z or an nsx or something.

i work at nissan... the 350's dont impress me as much as the 07 maximas do... CVT tranny and 265hp 3.5 v6 = one hell of a family sedan... im actually looking at picking up a 3.5 altima as a daily... not as fast as the maxima, but still will shit and get...

I have taken a few v6's a 300zx and a v6stang. the 300zx non turbo was neck and nect but I edged him out up top.

the v6 stang was a walk by yours truly.

I cant belive how slow that stang was I took it for a spin and it as literaly like driving a tank it noze dives like all hell when you brake and it pulls slow as death.

I raced a 95 300zx with i/e stickier tires and a short shifter. hell of a race we did 1 from a roll(I won by .5 of a car)

2 from a dig 1 he walked me I missed 3rd and 2nd I edged him out by like the length of my fender. he had me by 1/2 a car of the launch(damn that displacement and RWD lol) but up top lower weight I pulled on him no prob.

my z6 isnt modded to much just basics...i/h/e/sts/cmc stg1/alum. fw/ and vtec that works when it wants. the car does launch like a bat outta hell. 8" wide 17's. kyb gr-2's, eibach prolines, poly. mm inserts, rear stb. it worked. anyone know what the hemi durango does in the quarter, cause we raced to 100, least thats when i let off give or take some mph. a car length should equal out to an ass woopin. (del sol length)
