I was wondering what other people are running with there turbo setups. I ran my best time last night, 9.40sec at 76.06mph (1/8th mile) What are some other turbo times?

well I can see no ones helpin you out so, I dont have boost but a 75 shot. Im running a 14.2 1/4 mile which is a 9 flat 1/8 mile. This is in the fully loaded coupe in my sig

19.88@85mph.... dying d16y7 in a 97 civic dx sedan with 2 12 inch subs in a big box :) well the y7 is going the way of the dinosaur very soon along with one of the subs and a fiberglass box instead of the wood one (gotta have my tunes but might as well keep it light) and in goes a turbo z6! at least that's the plan i gotta find a motor first

Me too :roll: Unless it was 500ft and not an 1/8 mile, there's no way he could run this time.

I do run faster than him but with 22psi.

I was running too low in gas so I kind ran out of it at the end of the 1/4 :oops: That's the reason why the MPH is so low otherwise I would have trap ~123-124.

9.39@72mph 1/8 mile. D15B7 dx trans JRSC @ 8 psi 230k miles (at the time of the run now has 245k miles on the engine) Have yet to take it back or run it 1/4. Saving for a Z6 build and trying not to blow anything up till then lol. Already on my 3rd trans..but this time its a cx bah!!!

This weekend at Englishtown I ran a 13.93 at 100mph and my 1/8 time is 9.101, that was at 12 lbs of boost. Going again Wednesday the 5th... I will keep everyone posted. :D :D :D :D

With a good driver any car can be quick.

My 60 ft's are 1.6's (24.5x8x13 slicks). that helps

I think that you running 120 mph trap speeds is total bs.

Could you post the slip ? You're ET are great for such low MPH. You said you trapped 7.88 @ 88mph but to acheive this, my trap speed would be around 96mph. And to run 12.32, I would have trapped ~116mph.

What's your secret ? 1.4 60 ft ?

Thanks. Geez, I've just red the older post, it's not you that I doubted, it's the 10psi you're were pushing to run that time. You're really quick but not fast, that's the part I'm trying to understand.

13.5 .. nice ... how bout switching those stock tires to some street drag radials ... bet you could drop that time down to 13.2 also what about a EMS ?? hondata ?? AEM ??? think about gettin one of those .. and damn your runnin it kinda high on boost for a stock ex motor ... 12psi .. thats pushn it , isnt it ? esp without any engine management

I have hit an 8.87 at the local 1/8 strip in my car before. Thatw as about 1.5 yrs ago when It was turbo charged before startign my new project. I was pushing 14 lbs of boost and producing about 250 wheel power.

I have a 98 Dx with a custom setup t-3 Garrett turbo and ran 9.0 in 1/8 on street tires with rims and my bitch ass female self driving

I always wondered would it actualy be better for me to get a stock trubo from say like a GST eclipse so that there isn't that much lag on the turbo since it's smaller it should spool up faster for me right? But yet still put out the boost that i want. Alittle help guys thanks.

1st run missed 2nd gear and ran a 15.0 @ 100.00mph

2nd run 13.96 @ 103mph

3rd run ...

I was a Engilshtown too this past saturday. My car is still stock and I wanted to beat my 16sec mark before I go turbo, no luck. I was driving a primed coupe. I will probably go this wednesday to so if I can beat my time.

My fastest time was a 13.5@99mph...10psi on a tdo4 with MH slicks. I have yet to use my nitrous though, only a 20 shot. I will post pics soon

13.98 @ 100.5 @ 11psi with heavy 17" Motegi wheels. I think it was a 2.21 60' from 4k - feathered clutch.

Dyno was 219/204 @ 11psi

I got a 91 Civic Si HB with a Stock D16a6 (Unopened). Pacesetter header and a custom 2 1/4" exhaust without cat. Still running the stock airbox. I ran a 9.354 @71.90mph in the 1/8 mile..... i also got a 14.896 @88.25mph in the quarter that run. That was my best run. By the way that was with 20x8x14 m/t slicks and without boost or nos either.

he hit a 12.07 later in the year, now is making like 430FWHP and should be good for 10's.
I have been playing catchup with him for awhile, as soon as I get the turbo upgrade I will be good to go. our cars are built and tuned by the same person so it is kind of fun.
the person tuning is uglyassedcivic on H-T he is now making over 680 in his hatch and won a wally at nationals in pomona.
one thing to consider is RMR is one of if not the slowest in the country due to terrible air quality and elevation.

I gotta see this to beleive it. Not saying your full of it, but I ran 84mph clocked off a 8.87 at our local 1/8 track, and your hitting 7's with 4mph faster? I want to see a video.

I haven't been to the track yet with my setup... It's just a Greddy kit on a heavy civic (del sol si), but today I was side by side with my buddy's S2K, he had a slight jump but i was pulling in on him till he let off. I was surprised cuz I've been in his car a lot of times and that thing always felt A LOT faster than mine.
