tried selling it but decided to keep it and make a little sleeper racer with it. i'm more of a prelude guy but I got a great deal on it 4 months ago for commuting to work an hour one way. Now i only work 15 mins away so time toplay. 1993 dx 5spd just switched the rims from one of my project ludes.

debating on engine swap, could get a great deal on a 98 integra (body totaled) but it's an automatic and can't find a good tranny with axles or tranny peroid, without ending up paying same price as motor swap from online sources. I plan on turboing what ever so I can learn more about turbos

body wise its just gonna take time, or some money to get a body shop to do it...
engine wise, you can either work with whats in it,or do the swap... but it all depends on how much you need the car or how much you are capable of doing technically

I've been a mech since I could really understand mechanics, I wish now I would have taken more of the body shop classes and auto classes but technology classes and such pulled my interest away. I'm a avionics tech for the Corps so i'm good on the electronic side and thanks to alot of experience helping my grandfather with his towing company/parts yard I know enough to fixz a decent amount of problems. I really enjoyed swapping engines, but that was v8s and such so this will be my first real shot on the import cars. I also have 2 preludes i'm working with (no not rich just find good deals, although one my be sold really soon). I have 2 trucks and not so far from work so not being able to drive the car for a few weeks wouldn't hurt it's just the 200 here and 500 there that really make me not want to do anything. Everything needs something else to mnake it work, like I can get the b18b, but need a tranny, and need mounts, ecu ect ect. same with turbo a good used kit 1k. So time and tools are there, just short one money with kids and low paying military job. Back to the fact that I never bothered to learn about body work, I'll drive a sleeper the preludes have better curves to me but that's not to say i've seen some decent eg's, they are just agreat platform to start from for speed.. in the straightway that is.
