aight people im sorry i dont really post that much in here but finally i have something worth asking... ok well a guy i know locally is tryna selll me two d series engine ones a d16z6 hes just tryna sell the engine itself and than hes also selling an entire dohc zc swap.... engine tranny ecu all for 600... what you think buy or pass??? i probably would swap in the zc while i build the dz motor??? let me know thanks

again, if it's in good condition, you'd be kinda dumb to pass it up. being able to have that z6 just to build at your leisure (sp?) would be awesome. i say go for it!

check compression first be4 u buy em, bring a battery, jumper cables, and compression tester, to rotate the motors and check to see if all the cylinders and in decent shape and make sure they haven't fried the piston rings

a lot of ppl just reem on their motors if they know they r doing a swap... guilty for this on my 300k plus d15... (used a power convertor from canadian tire and hooked up a leaf blower to the intake, scary!!!) just be careful man... very easy to get ripped of with this sort of thing if you dont know them personally
