hey guys how are the xs turbo kits? i have heard that the manifolds tend to crack but i would get it welded to be stronger any other probs? i mean i have a b7 im not looking for more then like 160-175 hp i kno they use t3/t4 i have a cx tranny so the longer gearing will help alot, so hit me with the bad and good

i think their turbos are crap too which youd have to rebuild it quite soon after you get the kit running. im just telling you what i heard not what i know as i have never used their turbos before. i do have have an xs manifold but i havent used it yet cause i need a different T3 flange on there

Garbage.
I use a B series manifold (brand new) as a book end. They look good, but I would not use them on a car. Many customers ask why my kits cost what they do and the SSAC Ebay kits are so cheap...they;re cheap for a reason.
1. The manifolds crack
2. The WG flanges fall off
3. The clearance is terrible
4. The turbos have a 50/50 chance of having a lasting life.

Theire front mounts seem to be fine, along with the BOV's and piping. There are 2 different XS powers, one of them seems to make decent turbos, the other is junk.

I also wouldn't use on of theire T3/T4s (they use 57 & 60 trims)on a B7...use something smaller.

search, this has been covered a billion times... they are garbage kits
and also youll see better improvement with an ex/si tranny.... cx is garbage no matter what

put it this way, do you really want to spend $700 on a kit that MIGHT work? you're walking a thin line.

spend your money wisely, and you will have less problems down the road

I was going to buy one from them, but one off their website, not ebay. I was peicing it together, 45 trim turbo and on of their mani's, intercoolers, piping and a blowoff valve. If the mani cracks I'll get it fixed, if the turbo goes out on me then I run a ct26 of an old supra that a friend is going to give me. I plan on trying their stuff.

Why wate the money on the manifold that will crack....then crack again? Do you really want to keep pulling it off over and over? Why not just buy a quality manifold to start with?
Why not just run the free ct26? Why even bother wasting money on an iffy turbo?

i have a friend who bought one of thier kits. We had problems with the downpipe lining up with the exhaust and before he could get it tuned the turbo blew. They did take the turbo back and sent him a new one but he sold it and bought a diffrent turbo.

yup. SOme guy on Ka-t.org made 400 some at the wheels. From their Kit. and alot of them are using their Bottom Mount Manifolds for the 240sx. and My very Close friend has their t3/t4 kit on his Bserious Motor. and he has had it since march.(i know not a big time) and No Problems yet. But they do fucked up on COuple of parts, cuz they sent him d-series cams, and Pulley instead of B series and A fuel rail From a Celica.
but overall good. LIke i said It depends on ur Luck 50/50. never Knows, But i never seen any manifold Or trubos broke Personally.
