Hi everyone, I need everyones expertise on this one so that I can reach my goal, I will like to build my hatchback for street but with the "COJONES" to go to the track and run 12's. I will like to know what combination is need it from the turbo, Injectors (confuse on the injectors as well with the hi and low),throttle body, fuel pump (walbro 255, is what everyone is telling me, but now I got confuse, walbro 255 hi or low? and can my stock computer control everthing to my goal of 12's ET. this will be done on a stock sleeve engine but with good piston and rods and a mild prepare cylinder head with a good turbo camshaft to help me with my set up. PLEASE PEOPLE HELP ME OUT, SO THAT I CAN START MY SHOPPING!!

they have said this before around here you can have cheap, fast, and reliable just not all three ya gotta pick two usually 12's will be fast and can be reliable just not cheap with the right amount of dollars you can make anything fast start off with a basic turbo build there's plenty of stickies around here to help you out with that and get a really good tune after that you can upgrade certain pieces to achieve your goal

thanks for you reply,
I just want to buy the right stuff now I don't want to buy something now and then upgrade. I already have a manifold, Piston and rods, arp head studs, fuel pump (just need to know whether is Hi or Low on the walbro 255) The cylinder head will be work on as well so pretty much engine wise will be taking care off, My question goes more towards what turbo size should I buy, then the injectors, I want them to fit my original harness so pretty much I need (size) and what throttle body if I have to, I will like to get one that matches my intake manifold and also any sensor that came with my original harness. also if my original P28 with a chip or somethng like that will be enouth to control my engine with the turbo set up or do I need some type of managment system to control it.

what motor will this be in... You can check my setup if you want..
Fast, CHEAP and reliable..all three in the same sentence.

I ran 12's with a non vtec and this was my daily driver as well...

I personally would build the motor if you want it to last...but I'd say for me I would do T3/T4 range...anywhere between 12-15lbs (stock rods are pushing depending on the motor and tune)

then I'd go 3" exhaust...don't know what car your using or motor....then the easy way of course is gonna be chrome or uberdata...but I have to be honest....the cheap way is never the best way...like they say you get what you pay for....good luck!

I would spen money on the tune though...I have a member that's running 15PSI on stock rods putting down 253HP on a Y8 and he's been running for about 7-8 months w/ no problems....

about my car, is a 92 hatchback DX that I'm putting a D16Z6 Vtec SOHC engine. out of a 93 SI that I got.
Im trying to spend my money where it needs to, I know I have to probably buy uberdata, hondata ect... so insted of expending $600+ on crower rods I get the eagles for 1/2 the price. same goes for the piston and anything else that I can replace for something cheaper that has been proven to work again and again (cheaper not nesesary means garbage) I don't want to buy the most expensive parts thinking that they are better and that they will work better,Not all the time this is true. I want to buy parts that will work the best together as a set up. I agree with you 10000% tunning makes the diffrence.
