I was having a wierd bogging issue in between 1st and 2nd. I later found out that my Alky injection controler knob somehow got turned down to kick on at 1psi of boost. I was like WTF!? I wasn't sure if it was the heat, slicks, or what. At first i was kind of dissapointed and puzzled b/c the trap seemed lower than expected but after looking over the time slip i THINK the 1/8 MPH seems pretty healthy. So the knob has been turned back to where its supposed to be and the bogging issues have been resolved, i'll be heading back out august 18th.

That silver hatch is my cousin's all motor b20/vtec (high comp and the works, 13.4 ET). It was close with the mustang, he beat me by .1132 second. I dialed in at 12.99 and hit the 12.95 and broke out.
EDIT: I was racing all day so i couldn't remember which mustang you guys where talking about, but i beat the black one.

Yeah, that VW is an all motor car+squeezing, its pretty fast! Its got some rare VW head mated on a 2.0 block or something, i don't know the first thing about VWs.
yeah, First and second bog was killing me all day/night, then i would just reel those guys in.

August 18, $13 gets you in for "highschool drags" 5-9pm and you get in free to "friday night street racing," 9-1am.
Its ok, i still need to get everything dialed in. But i hit the goal for this set up so anything faster is just icing on the top.

Actually you know what dude, SRP is starting to run the tree once a month during the "friday night street racing" and the 18th falls on one of those days, so you can pay $13 to race from 5pm - 1am.
Highschool drags probably won't be too packed, last week i was the ONLY import! But i'm sure that FNSR w/ lights will be packed.

well, during the last FNSR with tree, my buddy only got 3 runs in from 9-1:30.
It was also the first time for SRP to run the tree at FNSR so i heard it was a zoo.
