for a b7/z6 mini-me set-up with I/H/E what setting do you guys have your cam advance or retard looking for good midrange and high end

yeah I'm at 4 degreess advance I'm just trying to get a concensus of what everyone else is doing maybe there setting will work for me too

1/2 tooth cam error to start with.........

so did you go 1/2 tooth advanced or retarded when installed?

while were on the b7/z6 timing issue....
I plan on doing about the same thing....z6 block & b7 head,,,,lil;..different

it will be a half tooth off.

so you can go any way?
retard or advance....as long as its a half-tooth?

not to steal the thread but its about the same information,
& the .75 threw me off.

yes. if you look in the engine building stickys its in there. for a better example look at the cam gears in that thread.

I'm running 4 degress advanced no pinging good power all the way to redline I'm guessing ignition timing is okay so that means I'm really 3.25 advanced right?

right. but you should really check the ignition timing with a light to make sure your dead on.

cool well everything is good now so I'll just leave it alone until I get a tune
