:x Can someone help!!! I did a motor swap on a 2000 civic Lx, I put in a motor from an ex, but the motor was from an automatic, after countless hours of trouble shooting I discovered that the intake manifold was different. I replaced the motor harness, ECU, intake manifold, and still the car is not running right, it seems that the v-tech is not kicking in, and the car is very jerky,and idles rough. what other differences are there between 5spd ex motor and auto ex.

What ecu do you have now? Also what year are the parts you swapped in? Any codes popping up? Most of the differences are in the EACV and how it hooks up. The y8 5speed manual version 2 wire EACV hooks up on the back of the intake manifold. The y8 Auto version 3 wire EACV mounts onto the bottom of Throttle body.
