Alright guys, I have a '91 LX sedan with a b2. I have an A6 cam laying around, and probably have the MPFI conversion covered (have all parts for it).

What else could I do to spruce it up a bit.

You could get a z6 or y8 exhaust manifold. It all depends on how much you want to spend. You can take your time and buy a piece at a time. Intake manifolds and exhaust systems can always be swapped to another engine. DC and HP racing are good investments for a future swap that you can use now. The si cam is a good mod. Do you have a manual tranny? You could swap to the si tranny.

Yea, it's a 5-speed, I do want the SI 5-speed. I have an OBX 4-2-1 header laying around, but I dont know if i'm gonna use it. I'm concerned about acoustics. I dont want my car to be loud again. My '88 LX and my '90 EX were hella loud, and around here...that attracts the wrong attention....mistar policemans.

MPFI convert is 12 hp, A6 cam is another 8 hp AFTER the DPFI to MPFI conversion.

I was pondering the thought, but would I be able to pull it off with a vtec activator and just an SI ecu...keeping it OBD-0?

Keeping the cost to a minimum is essential.

You can use an rpm activated switch with the PM6 ecu. MSD would probably be the best. Here is a site that may prove more helpful than me.

what timing belt would be used for the B2 and z6 head, and also what distrobuter would I need...keeping in mind, I will not convert to OBD-1
