Sorry 4 the crappy pic. Don't really have a dig. camera, just a phone.
Bought the car when it had 53k miles on it and now is @ 60k.

Car is a 99' Civic EX

List of mods done
Exterior:
Painted side skirts
Painted splash guards
OEM front si Lip
GSR Blades Rims

Engine/Performance:
Short Ram Intake w/diy Ice box
Apexi Exhaust system

Interior:
Panasonic headunit
2 12" RF subs in trunk
Infinity Speakers

Security:
Stock alarm. I don't really thinks its worth to spend a lot of money into something that people don't take seriously anymore.
3 different kill switches. I wont tell all, but i'll just say this, unless you plug in your seatbelt, the car won't start.

Currently i'm undecided on what to do. Its either Front Strut bar, or Foglights. What do you reccommend.

Nitrous or turbo. Fog lights aren't gonna make it faster. Nice looking car though.

Alright guys, my belts are starting to make a lot of noises and i have just about had it with them. I've tried to tighten them to the factory spec but have had no success in the noise going away. As i was checking my t-belt, i noticed that it was really dry and i'm really afraid that it might crap out. Anyways, i have a friend who's a honda-tech and he says that he'll replace all of the belts+water pump for $150. Is this a good deal. This is if i provide the parts. Also, should i replace anything else while i'm down there. Such as gaskets or any other seals. Thanks.

I'll give it a try. Also, do you think 60k is too early 4 a timing belt change.

If you think it needs changed then change it. I'd rather have a new belt then have to buy a new motor.

UNLESS HE USES HIS EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT TO BUY THE PARTS, I THINK ITS NOT A GOOD DEAL. SURE IT MAY BE CHEAPER THAN GETTING IT DONE AT THE DEALER AND YOU WOULD BE HELPING HIM EARN MORE CASH THAN IF HE GOT PAID AT WORK TO DO IT. I HAVE A HONDA-TECH FRIEND WHO IS GOING TO DO MY FRIEND'S ACCORD FOR $75, AND THAT IS A LOT HARDER JOB TO DO THAN A D... AND ADD THE PARTS THAT I WOULD SELL HIM AT EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT EST $110, HE WILL GET THE JOB DONE FOR $185. JUST MY .02

How would doing it for less than the dealership or your friend not be a good deal? Your friend will do an accord for 185, but 150 is worse? I don't get it.

Because he says quote "Is this a good deal. This is if i provide the parts."
$150 plus parts = $260+ versus $185

Somehow I missed that part. My bad.

Even that 260 is cheaper than the stealership. My local wanted $800 for a timing belt change. This seems like a steal if you ask me.

if i where you ,and it sounds as bad as you say i would replace the timing belt. if it breaks you will be kicking your self in the ass for weeks to come.
