so i have a turbonetics kit on the way for my d16y8 and was wondering if there is anything else i might want to get. basically, its my first turbo so i wont be familiar with any little (or big) parts i might want to take care of before/during the install. should i still get it dyno tuned even though it has its own fuel management? any help from people who are already boosted would be greatly appreciated.
basically the motor is bone stock

i would invest in a wideband and have someone street tune it. Just to be on the safe side.

What fuel management does the kit come with?
Is it the turbonetics kit that comes with the piggyback and 2 extra injectors?
Or is it the type that comes with an inline pump and FMU?

That's the kit I was thinking of, if so then you will need nothing extra. It's an odd but functional setup.

See the 2 ports on the charge pipe by the TB...that's for the 2 extra injectors.

yeah that pic about sums it up. the fuel management is a piggyback unit but i didnt know it could be tuned further. would i have to replace all my injectors with 440s or just the ones that come with the kit?

you can replace your injectors with the 440s and get it tuned, you'll see more power and less chance of blowing shit up not to mention you wont have 2 gay injectors by your tb.
