Mini-Me help once again

I have a y7 block and I have a y8 top end... I just got a 98 ex ecu...

is there a knock sensor in the y7 block?

and do I need a plug from a ex to go into the ecu and splice the wires to my existing and run the rest?

or can i plug in my existing harness and run new wires for the things I need with the ex ecu?

The y7 block doesn't have a knock sensor. I picked one up at the local junkyard for $10. As far as the ecu, the dx harness plugs into the ex computer. (I think that is what you were asking.) You will have to run the wires for vtec and I think the IAC is different. There is a great posting on here showing how to hook vtec up. I think that will help you alot.
