I really hate the puttering sound of an open dump tube. My old setup on my A6 I recirculated and I liked it. I recirculated the new manifold I just built. Here it is. Same simple mini ram design. The first one I made was too long and hit the factory crossmember so I sold it. I only went 2.5" for the downpipe this time. Its going to be a low boost driver. Pictured is part of the new setup. New Master Power turbo from LSDmotorsports.com and an CDM (Chinese Domestic Manufacturing) Wastegate.

That's asskicking spectacular! Isn't there some sorta benefit from the dump tube exiting further down in the DP? I recall a debate on this somewhere but am too lazy to search...

My other setup had the dump right back in on the top.

That looks great. My only comment is that you don't have a flex on the dump tube. That could cause cracking due to the different expansion rates...

my next one might, just because it would make install a little easier

i don't think i've even seen a flex on a dump tube, that didn't travel under the car a bit more...

I put one on just in case... Cheap insurance when you consider all the threads bout cracked Manis and pipes. 15$ on ebay for a ss flex

Well considering I make it myself a crack doesn't really concern me. It will have a flex at the end of the downpipe.
