(note the part that is clean)
that's what happen when running the stage 2 crower cam with stock springs, using pistons that have diferent valve relief and milling the head .010

the problem is you were running OEM valve springs. valve float is a bitch. crower specifically requires a valve spring upgrade on their website for good reason. and now you know why.

how is your redline ? maybe stock valve springs aren't good past 7200-7500 rpm especially with big lob cam ....

my red line was 8200rpm, i know that i have to use the crower springs and retainers, i've been saving for a while for a couple of things and the crower stuff is on the list, right now i am installing the stock cam back until i can aford all the stuff

you tried a crower stage 2 on stock springs????
Anything above 6500 rpm would have resulted in valve float!!!!!!!!!
Also. if you didn't know, once a valve spring is weaken by valve float, the rpm at which it happens get lower every time.
