i've bought one of those. it's the same turbo muffler you can get at most exhaust shops but for a fraction of the cost. they work well and have a lot better flow than stock. very quiet also, good selection.

i mite as well ask this here.... do u think its a good idea to throw some high heat paint on this muffler? ive got a can of silver laying around....or do u think its unnecessary

if i do should i paint it before or after bringing it to the muffler shop?

im kidan lazy to get it put on then take it off to paint it then put it back on lol

just paint it now...plug the holes - spray it...and put it on! ...and let us know how it sounds... i got a dynomax super turbo - and that went to ~50 shipped...this is half the price...so i wanna hear it.

the summit turbo muffler acts as a real muffler. it does the job of muffling. if you're like me, you get tired of hearing the loud straight through muffler on the interstate and everytime you try to gouge the throttle. this muffler is perfect.

i was merely pointing out the flow differences in the 2. although the Dynomax has probably close to the same amount of insulation as that one

wish i could afford it, but all normal headlights are too damn expensive... and working on the turbo project... i'd rather go fast than look cool:TU:

I have the same muffler. I used BBQ grill paint and hit it with 3 -4 coats. No issues here. Fairly quiet before I removed the cat in favor of a test pipe. With the test pipe, still fairly quiet till about 3k... then it is LOUD.

Thanks for posting up the video's... I've been debating on which muffler to go with after finishing my turbo setup a couple weeks ago because my stock pea-shooter exhaust is killing me.

Quiet decent-sounding rasp is better than loud 2-stroke-sounding rasp like my ultra-flo. I might have to consider one of these when my muffler goes out, hmm.
