I reinstalled windows and lost the older copy with less spyware I had. Does anybody have an older version (install program)?

bearshare allows both P2P as well as torrent downloading... if i remember the program right.
nevermind... thats edonkey
have you checked oldversion.com? (oldversion.com has edonkey but not bearshare)

DON'T USE BEARSHARE!!! being a programmer i know it is the WORST way of getting free music and stuff...use bittorrent or bit lord, or one of those P2P sharewears...so far i have seen bearshare fuck up 6 computers, and it just claimed another one...that i now am going to fix (sometimes i'm a nice guy and help out friends ;))

I've only tried the freeware version, and I got spyware notifications constantly. I think it lasted about 25 minutes on my hard drive. It wasn't even that good, either...
Torrentspy.com is the shit
