The point of building a "mini-me" is to take like an A6 or ZC sohc block and put the vtec on it so that you get about the same horsepower as a dohc zc. In your case using a D15 block it would be to just boost up the hp a little.

the d series "mini-me" isnt really equivalent to an LSVTEC. the oiling function of the LS vtec is different and the main thing that is good bout the vtec conversion on the b series is that the ls has some nice torque over a b16. the d minime does not really have significant Tq gains.

if i us my a6 block what head is the best to work with and how hard is it to put in the car after its build. and another thing i hear that the d16a6 does not rev right it i am rebuilding it so will that fix that problem or is it the clutch because thats gone in it it needs to me replaced so or is it something bigger then i think

a6 blocks can rev pretty high. we used to take our stock blocks up to 8200rpm.

Agreed. I constantly revved my ZC to 8000 rpms and the ZC uses the same rods with even heavier pistons.
